There is a two percent service fee for tours. This service fee is eliminated if you pay with cash. We do NOT include tasting and attraction fees.
We post join-in tour schedules monthly, but scheduling may vary for private tours. Services are first-come, first-serve.
We tour establishments in Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, South Haven, and Allegan.
After the initial transaction, go to your cart, select “Book more services,” and select “Book” for the desired tour.
The earlier you select the establishments you want to visit, the better. They are swamped during tourist season, so we’ll need to make reservations!
For wineries, we recommend selecting the early tour timeslot as all the wineries are open during this timeslot. For tours in the 10:45AM timeslot, you will have to visit Modales, Cranes or Fenn Valley as these are the wineries that open the earliest at 11:00AM.
If you do select the tour timeslot that starts in the afternoon, you will be able to visit wineries, but also may need to visit at least one brewery depending on winery hours which vary throughout the year.
Breweries tend to be open later than wineries. Tours that start at 10:45AM will need likely need to visit at least one winery as local breweries often do not open until 12:00PM. If you interested in breweries only a later timeslot may better meet your needs.
Tour availability varies throughout the year, so please check our booking page. Most 4 hour tours have a start time of 10:45AM or 3:45PM. Occasionally there will be a 4:45PM start time for a 4 hour. 5 hour tours start at 10:45AM. We do offer a later 5 hour start time at 3:45PM from June-mid September when local wineries and breweries have extended hours.
Yes! However, we ask that you only drink alcoholic beverages purchased from establishments during the tour. Most of stops have coolers where you can purchase libations that you can then enjoy during your ride. We have a corkscrew available on the bus. Please bring your own cups!
South Haven and Saugatuck have very limited taxi and Uber options. If you're hoping to use a local service, we recommend scheduling your rides in advance and plan to arrive at the location early so you don't miss the bus.
No, you cannot leave your cars overnight. Please plan accordingly and drive safely after you leave the Join-In tour.
The locations we visit are preplanned and listed on the itinerary that we develop with you. We typically do not change the locations during your tour. Pick up and drop off locations usually must be the same.
-We expect our drivers and the establishments we visit to be treated with respect. Also, please be respectful of other guests. Many of these locations are family friendly. If your tour ends early because of misconduct, you will not receive a refund.
-Please be mindful of leaving locations on time. Our driver will give you a 15 minute heads up to allow time for you to cash out. We likely have reservations at the next location and being late may result in cancellation or an unexpected wait.
-If you're planning a private tour, please communicate in a timely manner to plan your itinerary. If you are not communicating with us to develop your itinerary, then we may need to select your locations. We want you to be able to customize your tour, so please respond to our emails or call us to develop you itinerary.
We service areas within 15 miles of our home-based, so this only includes very few areas in Holland. There are a few locations North of Saugatuck with a Holland address that we offer pick up/drop off. Please check your location before booking.
There is a $100 deposit due at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. The remaining balance MUST be paid before the start of your tour using the link in the invoice. If you plan to pay cash, then you may pay the driver at the start of your tour.
